Installing HTX Lighting's plug-and-play rock lights is a straightforward process that enhances your vehicle's visibility and aesthetics. Follow these steps to ensure a successful installation:
Tools and Materials Needed:
- HTX Lighting Rock Light Kit (includes lights, wiring harness, and controller)
- Basic hand tools (screwdriver, wrench set)
- Drill with appropriate bits (if mounting requires drilling)
- Zip ties or cable clamps
- Protective gloves and eyewear
Step-by-Step Installation:

Unpack and Inspect the Kit:
- Ensure all components are present and free from damage.

Plan the Installation:
- Decide on the mounting locations for each rock light, typically within wheel wells, underbody, or other desired areas.
- Consider the routing path for the wiring harness to avoid heat sources, moving parts, and sharp edges.

Mount the Rock Lights:
- Position each light in the predetermined location.
- Secure the lights using the provided hardware. If drilling is necessary, ensure not to damage any underlying components.

Route the Wiring Harness:
- Connect the wiring harness to each rock light.
- Run the harness along the vehicle's frame, securing it with zip ties or cable clamps.
- Ensure the harness reaches the engine bay or designated area for the controller.

- Place the Bluetooth/App controller in a dry, accessible location.
- Connect the wiring harness to the controller.
